Yard Supervisor 

A new vacancy has arisen at John Lawrie Metals to support our growing metal recycling business. Based at our Aberdeen site, the preferred candidate will be responsible for approximately 10 employees, and will report to the Operations Manager. 

The main responsibilities associated with this role are: 

• Supervise all yard logistics and traffic movements 
• Coordinate load planning and lift operations 
• Implement overtime and work rotation 
• Attend and participate in all Operations meetings 
• Supervising subcontractors working on site

Overtime will be required for this position.

This is an excellent position with an array of potential growth opportunities within the business. The successful candidate will receive:

Metal Recycling Burner 

John Lawrie Metals is recruiting for a Metal Recycling Burner to join the team at their busy Aberdeen site. 

Full training will be provided, however previous burning or welding experience would be an advantage. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress to our mobile team working throughout the UK
